the stamp shack is going through a little remodling phase.  and like every remodel, it's taking forever!  but that's not stopping the swapping going on!!  joanne is hosting two sets of atc swaps.  one is a little girl theme and the other is a little boy theme.  this is for the boy.  i love this little guy from hambo stamps.  the dino is so cute!!  i'll post the girl set later.

can you stand how cute this stamp is? me either!! and i love this new stuff sherri found at the stamp convention last weekend. it's called honey mulch. it could be used for many different things, but i used it as sand.

i've decided i'm not great at wedding cards. a lady at work asked me to make her a couple and i've been stumped. i've put it off long enough so i had to get them done. i made two different styles, a cutesy one and a prettier one. in the second one, i paper pieced the couple and used a glaze pen to highlight some of the flourishes.

chocolatier...

no, not chocoholic, although i am one of those..what's a chocolatier you may ask? that's what i thought the first time i heard the term. there is a cool site called crop chocolate. they have random deals on crafting/scrapbooking/stamping stuff that change ever day, sometimes many times during the day. a while back, they decided to have a design team, which they call chocolatiers. they are sent a box of goodies from crop chocolate and have to create something out of the items. i was one of the lucky ones to be accepted as a chocolatier. i received a box of goodies last week and this is my first project officially as a chocolatier. so be watching on cropchocolate.com and you may see my stuff! i case'd this from the amuse blog. there was the cutest card over there and i knew i wanted to try it. it fits perfect for the reason i made this card, which i can't reveal until the recipient receives it or it will spoil the surprise. that's why the two middle sections are blank. i'm going to add photos there. when i have given the card, i'll post it again with the pictures and the reason for sending it!

don't faint! i actually made some cards today! i just love this digistamp from heather ellis and i made some atcs a few weeks ago that i thought were cute. so it inspired me to make some cards! the sentiment inside says "friends come in all shapes and sizes"

i made some birthday tags, at the request of my cousin brandy. it was kind of a challenge for me, because she needed tags mostly for boys. i haven't really made many things for boys, so it was hard. but this is what i came up with. i really love the owl one!

another swap atc. i have about 15 swaps due in the next three weeks, i swear!! okay, maybe not that many, but it feels like it!! this is for awna (who recently had a ton of work published, congrats!) is hosting that is all about bling. i had a really hard time coming up with an idea for this atc, so this is what i came up with. i embossed the dress in silver, then added glitter to each flower and the buttons to give it more bling. i hope it's bling-y enough!!!

ok, i admit it. i'm addicted to atcs. but how can you not be? they are so fun to make?? i'm in so many swaps over at the shack and 90% of them are atc swaps!!! so that's what you'll see for a while. i love how this one turned out. it is for sherri's let them eat cake swap. we just had to have any version of some sort of cake. so i love this stamp and decided to use it!!!

on another note, my finger is doing MUCH better. it's now almost completely better and only hurts when i smack it on something. the swelling is gone and i can bend it now. the streak was gone after a day of antibiotics. it's almost back to normal. except it itches like nothing i've ever had itch before! and as my very sweet friend, jen, pointed out, i did indeed go to the doctor for a hangnail!! but it was definitely a hangnail from hell!!!

i had to make an atc (what's an atc?) for a swap my friend sherri is hosting. the theme was pretty paisleys. i've been putting this off for a while, because i couldn't think of what to do. this was one of those swaps i signed up for without really thinking of the swap. i mean paisley? i'm not a paisley girl. but none the less, i had commited, so i had to make it. i got this paper a few months ago and tonight it finally hit me. this is the perfect stamp for what i was thinking of!!!

on a side note...i used the new markers i got last week thanks to a lot of enablers over at the shack. they are the bic marks a lot markers. i really like them. the colors are very bold and they color well. a much cheaper alternative to prismacolor markers!!!

so during the patriots/colts game (YEA! patriots won!!), i had some more inspiration and made more cards. i think i need to craft and watch football more often!! i'm behind on my birthday card giving, so i figured i needed to make a bunch. so here are the ones i made. the stamps are from stamping bella and the papers are from stampin up.

it's nice to get my creative juices flowing again. now i have 3 circle journals that desperatley need attending to. i'm stumped on the one, however. it's about holiday collections and i don't really collect much! besides junk!!

this and that...

okay. so i know it's april 30th. spring is supposed to be here. well, last week it was freezing...snowed even. and today? like 80?? what the freak?? apparently spring is a no show this year and we are going straight to summer...and it is my cute niece's birthday...happy day, squid...(sydney, but i call her squiddy) she's so grown up at 13!!!

on another note, i was totally raunchy this afternoon. the line at the post office was forever long...i come out and find the minivan parked next to me is like inches from me. so i can't even get in my car. i tried, of course, and i'm wearing a white shirt which is now brown from shimmying up the side. so i had to crawl in from the passenger side. sheesh...didn't make me happy.

onto the mail day. i got the best mail today!! i got my order from stamping bella, plus my missing bella that was misplaced! she also included a bonus surfafella!! so the sposabella had a nice ride from canada with surfafella!! can you believe that? how nice!! i got suzi and michelle's inchies, plus an awesome shack from suzi....

AND my stamps from aud came!! oh my holy cuteness!!! i can't even wait!!! i'm so totally sad that all my crafty stuff is packed away!! i have all these stamps and nothing to do with them!!! i gave my mom all my ezmount to mount the other bellas so i can't even do that!! these stamps are so cute!! ahh...not so raunchy anymore.

i also stoped by michaels to check out the martha stuff. got some cute ribbon (i know, mom, i don't need more ribbon...but wait till you see it) i love the way it's packaged with the flat bottom. smart!!!

the alien that is inhabiting my lungs is still there. he's putting up a good fight. i keep having these freaky fevers...they won't stop!! and coughing and coughing and coughing and coughing and coughing and coughing and coughing and coughing...oh sorry. you get the picture.

one more thing. i caught up on grey's anatomy this weekend while i was ill...what the freak is up with mcdreamy??? seriously????

oh well, shug out. i need a nappy.
