unity...

if you read my blog at all, or know me even a little, you know i've got a huge addiction.  no, not to crack...but something just as addicting.  my name is angie and i'm a rubber addict.  yes, i'm hopelessly addicted to rubber stamps.  especially from unity stamp company.  so here's my public service announcement for the weekend.  because who doesn't love a good deal???

thanks(giving) blog hop...

hello and welcome to the thanks(giving) blog hop with a few {ippity} chicks!!  thanksgiving is a great time of year...it usually marks the beginning of the holiday season.  it's also a time to think about all we are thankful for.  what a great time to have a blog hop centered around giving thanks and thanksgiving!  so pull up a chair, grab your favorite beverage, and hop through the blogs!

i will be giving away one of the new {ippity} kits to a random peep, so don't forget to leave a comment (winner will be picked on 11/25!).  some of the other chicks are also giving away blog candy, too, so comment along the hop!!

a craftie from work was making some cute cards one day and she was using burlap on them.  i loved the idea so i wanted to try it.  i got light colored burlap and inked the edges with some distress ink.  love the burlap!

happy wishes...

there's a new craze going on right now.  [washi tape]  it's a thin paper tape that comes in a variety of colors and patterns and is great for paper crafts like card making and scrapbooking.  it can be used on virtually any crafting project.  and now you can make your own washi tape pretty easily!  so i tried it out and made some for this card.  i stamped the snowflakes in chalk ink and then stamped the sentiment right on the washi tape after i put it on my card.  totally fun to use!

happy wishes
stamps: unity, ippity
cardstock: soft sky
ink: blue chalk, onyx black
embellishments:  prismacolor markers, washi tape

blog hop tomorrow!!

don't forget tomorrow is the thanks(giving) blog hop with some of the {ippity} chicks!!
see you here!!!
