wedding cards...

i've decided i'm not great at wedding cards. a lady at work asked me to make her a couple and i've been stumped. i've put it off long enough so i had to get them done. i made two different styles, a cutesy one and a prettier one. in the second one, i paper pieced the couple and used a glaze pen to highlight some of the flourishes.

hello spring...

i love that as i'm writing this blog post, it's 6pm and the sun is just beginning to set. and when i get to work in the morning (in about 12 1/2 hours), the sun will just be coming up. know what that means? spring is coming!! this card fits into the theme of spring. i made a dozen of these for someone at work (for her card club, isn't that a hoot?)

i'm hosting a swap that has a wedding/bridal theme. i thought i had a stamp that had a cute little couple but i think i've only thought about ordering it and really didn't. so i had to figure out something different. i loved this little car so i thought i'd make a little collage.

my town...

this is my last entry for the "my theme" circle journal swap that has been going on for 6 months. i'm sad to see it come to an end. i will post my completed journal tomorrow. this entry is in joanne's journal, which the theme was "my town". i don't know much about the city i live in now, so i did the city i grew up in.
