playing catch up today.  trying to get some things done like christmas cards, tags, etc.  here's one tag i've been playing with.  it's got quite the mix of things...regular stamps, digital, used the silhouette.

monday comes so quickly lately!! oh wait, time just flies so quickly lately.  i am loving the {ippity} itty bitties.  this is another new one.  i hope you took advantage of the sale this past week!  if not, you can still get this cute stamp.  let me know and i'll hook you up.

and i'm totally loving this mixed media thing.  i used some gesso on the tag and gave it a little texture before added color.   why is it that i'm just discovering those little acrylic paint daubers?  i love the color chewing gum by jenni bowlin!

if you could only see me you would see that i'm doing the happy dance because it's friday.  the past week has been an exceedingly difficult week for me (personal stuff and patients at work) so i'm T.H.R.I.L.L.E.D.  to have today and tomorrow off.  i made this card for a friend of mine, who is also having a rough patch.

it's friday, it's friday!  woo hoo!!  i'm excited because today means i have the next 4 days off.  i'm not necessarily doing anything...it's just how my schedule worked out.  but it also means it's friends with flair!  i'm excited to show you these tags i made.  angela, over at unity, posted a christmas tag tutorial video.  i totally cased her idea and made my own.  i used stamps from the unity october kotm and from the {ippity} kit kissmas & mistletoe.  love it!  be sure and check out all the other cute things on the fwf blog hop and watch for the magical blinkie!!

christmas tags...

i went to hobby lobby yesterday.  i swear...not even halloween and it looks like someone threw up christmas in there!  and i know it's been like that for weeks already!  crazy.  sherri hosts an annual christmas tag swap.  it's fun seeing all the different ways people make gift tags.  and apparently i'm one of the few that doesn't use them.  i like to keep them while almost everyone else actually puts them on gifts.  my theme was christmas trees.  this is what i made.  i think i'm going to make more, in a smaller version, and actually use them this year!

snowman tags...

sometimes i just get stumped by a swap. this was one of them. i have a ton of snowman stamps, so you would think it would be easy. but i couldn't figure it out! maybe it was the size that threw me off. they were to be 3x3 tags. and i didn't want to make a 3x3 card. i love this snowman from purple onion. it's one of my favorites. and i remembered i had this tag stamp, so i wanted to use it. trying to get them to fit together was a challenge, but i did it. and it made me use more brads, which i rarely use anymore!
