which ink...
riddle me this, batman. you are in the middle of a project and you need a certain color of ink. of course, you're not sure which color is going to work like you want it to. you have about 4 colors to choose from. how do you remember what they look like? well, i never can. especially with distress ink. with my stand-by ink (stampin up), i know the colors inside and out. but mr hotlz's ink always stumps me. i saw this handy tip on someone's blog once. can't remember who and who knows when it was. so if this was your idea, leave a comment and i'll give you proper kudos. made some labels with the name of the ink, then stamped on the label so i could see the color, too. and i'm an edger (meaning i rarely leave a naked edge...they must be colored!) so i did that as well. made a pretty cool picture, i think! i need more, too. i only have a few...there are so many more!! cool find...
ok, so i know this is two posts in a row that i'm telling about a cool thing i have found/discovered, but i had to show this off, too!! i found these cute drawer/shelve things yesterday at michaels. they were on clearance for $10. plus you can use a coupon. so i got them for $6 each!! i went back today and got another one and three cubes (that were also on ly $10!). i love the little drawers. they fit lots of things. if i really wanted to, i bet i could get all my su ink pads in them. but i won't because now i can have more stuff in a much handier spot! maybe this will help keep my table looking this organized. nah...i'm sure it won't! this is also nice because i can have my ott light more centered in the table. i'm running out of room for all my markers. but i love the little containers they are in. too bad i found them at ross, so i know i'll never find anymore like them!

new space...
this is the cool organizer i found at ikea! it's perfect for stuff that you just can't figure out what to do with!!!
finally a place to have all my ink pads easily accessible!! the long wood holder on the top will hold all my unmounted stamps that i'm slowing converting into cd cases.
a place for all my ribbon. with the third drawer being empty to allow for expansion!!!
and the ginourmous tv i get in my craft room thanks to my boyfriend needind a 57 inch downstairs!!! i'll never have to strain my eyes again!!!
and my favorite part...the wonderful thing my friend julie made me to hang in my craft room. i need to put it up on the door. isn't it neat??

shuggy snacks up for grabs!! {part 2}
ok, so in addition to the post below, here's another question.
if you could redo your craft room, what one major thing would you change?
same prize...the two questions will be combined. so there will be one prize drawn from this post and the previous post.

shuggy snacks up for grabs!!! {part 1}
since i'm going to have an opportunity to redo my craft room when we move, i'm thinking of organization. what do you do with all your stamps and how do you keep them organized?
for instance...stampin up stamps...do you leave them in the boxes they come in or do you move them to different containers. unmounteds...do you mount them and store them a special way? how do you remember what you have?
i need ideas and suggestions!!! please leave me a comment with your version of organizing and storing your stamps. i will take suggestions until midnight on april 8th. i'll draw a random suggestion to win the booty!!! only one entry per person...but if you have multiple suggestions, fire away. one person will be drawn from part 1 and 2 combined.
the booty...
