time to fly...

i told you i've was getting inky yesterday.  such a good feeling!! and there's more on the agenda for tonight, since it's monday!  woot woot!  ustream party at tracy's!  but for now, here's a card i made for the current sketch challenge from the chick challenges blog.  it is a flat card where you pull the tab and reveal the writing area.  i love that it's not a typical card.

what's that??   you haven't played along??  what are you waiting for?  it's free stamps, for cripes sake!  who doesn't love that??

time to fly
 stamps:  ippity
cardstock: fancy pants pp, soft sky
ink: soft suede, broken china distress, old paper distress
embellishments:  prismacolor markers, rhinestones
tools:  silhouette

and just to get the creativity flowing and to put you in the mood to play along with the {ippity} chicks, i'll throw in a little prize for everyone who plays along.  simply leave me a comment on this post telling me you submitted your project and i'll draw a winner for some {ippity} goodness.  now you have TWO chances for free {ippity}!  and if you want to buy any {ippity} goodies, pick me as your {ippity} chick at the unity website or visit my {ippity} blog.

so go get CRAFTING!!

It's a great card. I love the way the pull tab looks like a bird flying upward -- way to carry on the theme.

Love your card. I didn't think I'd enjoy the chick challenge but I ended up loving it! I entered a black and white one. It also fit the Ippity challenge as well as the Chick Challenge.
