do you ever wonder where your blog link might end up? and do you ever wonder how people decided to put a blog link on their blog? well i was shocked and stunned when i was blog surfing kim's blog from my favorite things (check out the cute stamps here) and low and behold, i am on kim's list of blogs she stalks! i can't believe it!! who would want to visit little old me??? i am so excited i can hardly stand it!! what an honor!!! have you seen the rest of the list? i don't deserve to be there!!!

time...

do you ever feel like time is flying past you and you don't realize it? lately, time seems to go so fast and it feels like i'm missing things because before i know it it's been three days ahead of what i think it should be...

scrapfest at moa is next week!!! one week from today me and my cute mom will be heading to minnesota. i can't wait to meet all the shackies that are going!!

going on a trip...

so my friend and stampin' up! upline, jami and i are going to a sort of stamping retreat, i guess you could call it. our main upline, christy, has a retreat each year for all those that are promoted during the year. anyway, it's this weekend. so we are leaving today and heading to st. george for the weekend. i'm way excited. it will be a weekend of fun, friends, and stamping!!! i don't know if i'll have access to the internet, so i may be mia until sunday.

of course i'm spoiled, because this is just a primer for what's to come in two weeks from today!! that's right...scrapfest at the mall of america in minnesota is finally just around the corner!! that's where i get to meet up with a bunch of shackies that i've become good friends with over that past year.

oh my stamps...

so over at the shack, someone mentioned craig's list and something they found. so i started looking on it and found a message from a very nice lady named chris, who was selling some of her stamps. i emailed her and went to her house today and it was like a kid in a candy store!! she had so many neat stamps and paper and other goodies. i had to make sure i only took a little cash so i didn't go nuts. this is what i came home with. i can't wait to use them!! the stamps are amuse, memory box, magenta, rubbermoon and river city rubber works. they were a buck each. can you believe it? amazing!!!

a funny...

i was blog surfing today and found this joke somewhere that i can't remember. but it's hilarious!!

A blonde calls her boyfriend and says, "Please come over here and help me. I
have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get it started."

Her boyfriend asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?"

The blonde says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a tiger."

Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle. She lets him in
and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table. He studies the
pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to her and says, "First
of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these

and despite being 3 hours longer than expected today, my brother's surgery went ok. they had to do a lot more than they thought, but he is doing ok. thanks for the thoughts.

it is my wonderful boyfriend's 40th birthday!!! of course he will probably not see this but i wanted to wish him a happy birthday!! he was very specific to not make a big deal about it so we had no party, just have a quiet day planned. movie and dinner. i made his favorite lasange last night.

what happens to people who are scared half to death twice?

new card and a dirty scanner...

it seems that lately when i try and make cards, i can't get what i want out of it. maybe i'm trying to hard. so i made a simple card last night. after i scanned it, i realized that my scanner has a lot of what i'm guessing is globs of adhesive on it!! i'll have to get it cleaned up. the card is really white, don't mind the spots!!!

where have i been...

oh my. the past week has flown by at record speed!! i've worked (12 hour shifts) 5 of the last 6 days and i'm beat!!! on top of that, trying to get homework done in between. i'm taking statics right now and it is not very fun!! i have a few days off this weekend and i hope to get some crafting done. i have a few circle journals to work on. it's also my wonderful boyfriend's birthday!! woo hoo!!
