got snow?

it's been so hot lately. and i've loved thinking of cooler days. not that i love the snow. i mean, it's pretty to look at. but i don't love it. i do love this cute tinsel glitter by martha though. it makes great snow. this is for cindy's "christmas in july" atc swap, so i hope this is okay. i found the cute "got snow?" stamp at the enchanted cottage in nc (isn't that a cute name for a stamp store?) so i wanted to use it.

yes, i know that christmas is over, but sherri hosted a candy cane atc swap and this is my atc for it. i love this little penguin!

card candy...

i am doing a swap that is totally outside of the box of my crafting. it is to make card candy, or little items that you can add to cards that are premade. kind of like things you buy at the craft store to embellish cards with. it was hard for me to come up with this and i've been putting it off, hoping something would pop into my head! well, i finally had to do it, so this is what i came up with!! there are 10 of us in the swap and we each picked a theme. mine was birthday, obviously!!!
