wow. seems like the weather is ready for the big guy in the red suit to come. this is a card i made on my stamping trip to indiana. what a great time we all had. 4 days of stamping with friends, lots of laughing and crafting. learning new ways to roast marshmallows! awesome! one of the shackies posted a link on using craft ink and a watercolor pen (i used a blender pen) so you could use white ink on kraft. i love the effect. i used it on santa's beard (and i used it on the snow in yesterday's post). i also {love} the jillibean soup paper! for the twill, i just gathered it in certain spots and stapled it.
here comes santa...
stamps: studio g, american crafts
cardstock: crumb cake, jillibean soup pp
ink: oynx black, white craft
embellishments: prismacolor markers, twill ribbon, tiny attacher
1 peeps have to say:
What a great card. I love the twill accent. At first I thought they were wide stitches. That would be cool too.
It kind of looks like a curtain is rising, like he's a guest on a show. All ready to perform.
Glad you had fun and got home safely.
