hooray!! ikea opened today! of course, i'm not going to go there for a few weeks because i don't want to fight my way through, but it is open!! it looked like a zoo today.
so our main freeway system has these overhead electric signs where they can post messages such as "crash ahead, road closed" or amber alerts and such. well, the past few days they've had one up that just cracks me up. it said "seat belt law enforced" well duh! isn't it always enforced? there was another one last labor day weekend. it read "dui laws enforced" so great...every other weekend of the year you can get away with driving while intoxicated but not that one???

Ok, that is just TOOO WEIRD. Of course, the law is fairly odd anyway. A friend's son got busted for possesion at school. He was arrested & taken to jail. His parents thought it would be good for him to spend the night in the clink to learn a lesson. She was told by the police that she would be charged w/child endangerment if she left him in the jail. HELLO???? How could he be in danger in thier custody & it be HER FAULT????

We have IKEA opening here in Charlotte in a year or so. I can't wait. Remember to try their cinnamon rolls in their little restaurant. They are the best! LOL

Are you in MIchigan because he seat blet thing has traps on I75 this week. My dumb*** brother had gotten cought twice because his kids are not belted.
If you arelike my daughter with IKEA-better take out a 2nd home equity loan. SHe is always there.
