i have never had a fondness for butterflies. i really don't like them much. even when i first saw these two stamps, they didn't speak to me. then the other day, i was looking for something and i ran across the sentiment again and it stopped me in my tracks. it spoke volumes to me. see, i'm starting out on a new journey. and i'm making a project about this journey. now i see these two stamps in a completely different light. and they will go perfectly in my new project. i have seen so many cool art journals that people create. i tried to make something like this, then realized i don't have the artistic ability to do this. so i started over and went simple. just painted the page. it was the next day that i found these two stamps again. and i just kind of started stamping and this is what came out of it.

What a beautiful card. Aren't butterflies nicer than grasshoppers? YUCK
This is beautiful!
Well I think you rocked the butterflies! I love butterfly stamps! Great page.
It's a beautiful card.
But you mentioned seeing things in a different light and something clicked in my brain. Imagine them in white on a black background. Moths instead of butterflies. Or in silver, still on black, with some purple. Not sure of the sentiment. Maybe something about the magic of a warm summer night. I'm getting relaxed just thinking about it.
{{Best wishes}} on your new journey. xo
Your card turned out perfect!! Love the butterflies & the look of the acrylic paint.
