do lunch...

the thing i love about ordering stamps from unity (other than the obvious...they are so damn cute!) is you get a little free surprise in each order. they are so awesome.  makes ripping open your order fun to see what you got.  it the latest order i received, it had some pieces of cardstock.  now if i were to see this cardstock, i probably would have never picked it out to use.  but when i saw it together, it just screamed "use me"!  i paired it with this stamp.  because i think the cardstock is so nice and pretty and this stamp gives the impression that it is so nice and pretty, then it makes you totally belly laugh. so at first glance you are like "what a pretty card" then you read it and it's hilarious.  or maybe that's just how my crazy mind works.  regardless, i love the freebies that are included with my stamps!!

be there...

how long has it been since i've participated in friends with flair??  who knows!  but i decided to today.  this card was inspired by one of the emails that angela sends out for unity with the awesome tips on quick cards.  it's sparked something in my brain.  i keep thinking taking time to make a card needs to be this big long process.  not.the.case.  i watched  one of the quick video tips, came up to my room and made a quick card.  I NEED TO DO THAT MORE OFTEN!!!  hope you have a great weekend!!
