so here is the finished product of the 'my theme' circle journal swap that i have been hosting. the swap started back in december and has been a long and exciting swap. i have enjoyed this cj the most out of all the ones i have either hosted or participated in. i loved having each person pick their own swap and seeing how each one has turned out. i'm a little sad it is over!! but on to the next cj, i guess! and maybe i'll have to do this one again in december!

here are all the entries in my cj. everyone is so unique and amazing. the ladies that participated are all amazing.

shoes...

i condisder myself a shoe girl. that is, i love to get new shoes. i had a time in my life where i had probably 20 different colors of low top chuck taylors. the yellow ones were my favorite. but now, it's all about flips. i love them. i don't go overboard, like i used to. now i have only a few pair. but the ones i have, i love. so when i got the latest circle journal in the "my theme" cj swap, i was all set on what i wanted to do. and i had this great new flip flop punch! then i did my 2 pages and hated it. so i had to redo it. this is the result. i'm still not liking it much, but i had to send it on it's way.

childhood memories...

here is an entry in the latest circle journal swap i'm in. this is cheryl's cj. the theme is childhood memories. it was a hard one for me. not because i didn't have a fantastic childhood. i did. i loved my childhood. it was a blast. it's just hard to figure out what you want to put on a 7x7 page. this is what i created.

a new circle journal...

well it's finally finished. i'm hosting another circle journal swap over at the shack and it's the first mail day today. i didn't realize when i picked this theme how hard it would be do create my cj! but i finally did. i love the papers...they are from we r memory keepers. very fun! and i was inspired by an idea from friend sarah that i should be using more of my embarrassing large collection/obsession of ribbons and fibers. so i found this funky turquoise fiber i had received in a swap (probably a few years ago!) and it worked perfectly i think!! i had a fun (or frustrating!) time trying to come up with what to do for each month, but i like how they all turned out. i left it unbound for now, since i have no idea how big it will be when it's returned to me!
