three years ago, i went to scrapfest in minnesota. it was the first shackie get together i ever attended. it was one of the funnest, most memorable trips i've ever had. one morning, we were all down having some breakfast and i was my usual non-morning person self. i can't remember if it was me that brought it up or someone else, but it stuck that no one should talk to me before 10am! i'm really not that bad, but it is kind of funny. so a few weeks ago at the nc stamp convention we went to, with part of the same group of people, my cute mom found this sentiment stamp and bought it for me. i absolutely love it. it's so fitting!

i know, this looks a little like the card i made a few days ago. i needed some birthday cards and thought this sentiment was totally cute and would work well for the occasion. i also loved the card i made before, so i just modified it a little. viola!

monday is here so soon?? this weekend flew by faster than a blink of an eye, i swear!! so a new week starts, i guess. this week is a busy one. it's my honey's birthday on thursday, so i'm trying to figure out what to get the man who wants nothing! but let's start first with a h{ippity} hop! this week i caved and broke out a new set. i've been debating for weeks, because i'm not crazy about the bugs. but i love the flowers and the tree (not used on this card...maybe next week!) it's from the kit "a little buggy". if you want one for all your own, visit this page! i don't do clean and simple cards often enough and i don't know why because i usually love them. i do love how this one turned out.
